High Standard Houston Models

In the Spring of 1993, the High Standard Manufacturing Company, Inc. of Houston Texas acquired the former High Standard Company assets and trademarks and the .22 target pistols. In July 1993 these original assets were transferred to Houston Texas. In March of 1994 the first Houston manufactured guns were shipped. The following data was provided by High Standard Manufacturing Company. These guns are like the 107 series guns in design except as noted. Their serial numbers for the first Houston guns have an "AF" prefix and ran from 00001 through 001643. Then the numbers changed to a new format beginning with 2,600,000

Supermatic Trophy

Like the 107 series Supermatic Trophy. Trigger, slide stop, safety, and magazine release are gold finished. Stippled front and back straps on frame.

Supermatic Citation

Like the 107 series Supermatic Citation. Trigger, slide stop, safety, and magazine release are nickel finished on the blued guns . Trigger, slide stop, safety, and magazine release are blued finish on the parkerized guns. Stippled front and back straps on frame.

Supermatic Citation MS

Like the Citation above but modified for Metallic Silhouette shooting. Has a 10.00” barrel with RPM sights. Rear sight mounted on a rib attached to the barrel. Optical sights can be mounted on the rear sight rib. Trigger, slide stop, safety, and magazine release are nickel finished. Stippled front and back straps on frame. Introduced 1996

Olympic

A .22 Short caliber semiautomatic pistol with a 5 shot magazine The ISU version is like the 107 series Olympic ISU. The military version is the same gun but uses the 5.50” bull barrel. Trigger, slide stop, safety, and magazine release are blued through 1995 and gold beginning 1996.

Olympic Rapid Fire

A design evolved from but unlike the East Hartford 107 guns. A .22 short caliber semiautomatic pistol with a 5 shot magazine. 4.00” barrel with an integral muzzle brake. Both sights mounted on a ventilated rib. Adjustable trigger and international style grips. Trigger, slide stop, safety, and magazine release are gold finished. Limited production beginning in 1996.

Victor

A .22 LR caliber semiautomatic pistol with a 10 shot magazine. 4.50" and 5.50" slab sided barrels with ventilated rib. The adjustable sights are integral with the rib. High Standard universal mount available beginning 1996. Blue or Parkerized finish, barrel tapped for weight, checkered walnut thumb rest grips, Trigger, slide stop, safety, and magazine release are gold finished on the blued guns. Trigger, slide stop, safety, and magazine release are blued finish on the parkerized guns. Stippled front and back straps on frame.

Barrel tapped for High Standard universal mount after 1995. Assembled by a master Houston gunsmith.

Shea 10-X

A .22 LR caliber semiautomatic pistol with a 10 shot magazine. Parkerized finish 1995, matte blue finish after 1995 adjustable sights; checkered walnut grips painted black. Trigger, slide stop, safety, and magazine release are parkerized on the parkerized guns and blued on the blued guns. Stippled front and back straps on frame. Barrel tapped for High Standard universal mount after 1995. .Assembled by Bob Shea, master gunsmith, in limited numbers.

Model 105

There were two offerings of this model

The first offering is one I still need data from Houston High Standard on.
These guns had serial numbers began with 2,600,000.

The second offering was a group of specially polished guns were available individually or in 3 gun or 4 gun sets. These guns included some Hamden made parts. The individual guns were Victors (fully engraved), and Tournaments (50% engraved and no engraving). The four gun set consisted of: Olympic 8.00” Space Gun, Tournament 4.50”, Flite King 4.50”, and Victor 5.50”. The three gun set consisted of: Tournament 4.50”, Flite King 4.50”, and Victor 5.50”. These guns had serial numbers between 2,601,100 and 2,601,169.

Conversion kits for military frame guns
These kits convert .22 LR to .22 short and include a barrel, an aluminum slide, and 2 magazines.
